The ideal candidate is a problem solver who is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. --- ### **Key Responsibilities** * **System Architecture:** Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems, microservices, and APIs. * **Technical Leadership:** Act as a subject matter expert, guiding the team through technical hurdles, performing rigorous code reviews, and establishing engineering best practices. * **Infrastructure & Cloud:** Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a focus on reliability, security, and cost-optimization. * **Performance Optimization:** Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and execute strategies to improve latency, throughput, and resource utilization. * **Collaboration:** Partner with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-impact features. * **Data Management:** Design, optimize, and manage complex database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and query efficiency. * **Security & Compliance:** Integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle (SDLC) to protect user data and maintain compliance with industry standards. * **Mentorship:** Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. --- ### **Required Qualifications** * **Experience:** 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focusing on backend development in a high-scale environment. * **Core Languages:** Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as [Insert relevant languages, e.g., Go, Python, Java, Node.js, or Rust]. * **API Design:** Extensive experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, gRPC, or GraphQL services. * **Database Expertise:** Deep understanding of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra), including schema design, indexing, and query optimization. * **Cloud & DevOps:** Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
